A HALL OF FAME LIFE

David Baker is a respected leader in business, politics, and sports. Recently he retired after an eight-year tenure as President of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Known for his vision, passion, and dedication, David Baker earned high praise from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “In eight years as president and CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, David expanded the Hall’s brand nationally and footprint locally in Canton, Ohio. His mission to honor and support the heroes of the game will be one of his most lasting and important legacies,” said Roger Goodell.

In recognition of his leadership, David Baker received the honor of being named the March of Dimes National Sports Leader of the Year award in 2018. Additionally, in 2023 he was honored with the Founders Award from the Black College Football Hall of Fame.

Baker has served as Mayor and Councilman for Irvine, California, practiced law, and helmed Union Village, a 178-acre Integrated Health Village in Henderson, NV. His extensive experience also includes a twelve-year stint as Commissioner for the Arena Football League.

Baker presently serves as President and CEO of LEGENDARY LIVING and WORLD YOUTH SPORTS. He resides in Orange County, California, with his wife, Colleen, four children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
