How much does parking cost?
We have 1,200 onsite parking spaces available for our attendees. Pricing to park varies by event.

How do I find out about an event that is booked at the facility?

All public events are listed on the Events page. Please visit each page for more information on each event. The event hours & admission information are also listed on the individual event pages.

Is there a place to purchase food at a public event?

Yes, we have a Food Court that offers a wide variety of meals, snacks, and drinks for most public events.  Menu options will vary from show to show.

Are there any hotels close by?

Yes, there are three hotels directly next to the Expo Center and within walking distance. They are the Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, the Homewood Suites. Visit the Plan Your Visit page for more information.

Are there any employment opportunities available?

How do I book an event?

Once you have viewed all the informational tabs on our website, fill out the “Contact” page, and an event coordinator will reach out to discuss further.

Can your onsite catering company accommodate special dietary requests?

Yes! Our chef will gladly accommodate any allergies or meal preferences noted for your event. Reach out to your assigned event coordinator to discuss special meal requests in advance of your event to ensure our ability to accommodate.

Yes, we have a café that offers a wide variety of meals, snacks, and drinks for most public events.  Menu options will vary from show to show.  Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

What's included in a vendor booth package?

Vendor booth packages are determined by the show promoter.  Please reach out to the show promoter for information.

How do I order items for my booth?

You can order electrical, chairs, etc. from Exhibitor Services at [email protected].

Where do we move in and out for shows?

Your show promoter will give you directions on which doors to use for move-in.  No move-in or out is permitted through any sets of glass doors.

Ballroom and Conference Center FAQ

Can I bring my own catering company?

No, the Fredericksburg Convention Center is the sole provider food food and beverage.

Can I bring my own DJ?

Yes, you can bring your own DJ!  We just require a certificate of liability insurance.

Can I bring my own decorator?

Yes, you can have a decorator for your event in the Ballroom!  We just require a certificate of liability insurance.

What's included in the ballroom rental?

Tables, chairs, lap-length linens, china, silver, and glassware.

We can offer a dance floor, staging, audio/visual equipment, and upgraded linens for additional fees.

How many hours are included in the rental?

We include 5 event hours in the rental timeframe.  Additional hours to set up and tear down is based upon availability.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, the Fredericksburg Convention Center is the sole provider of food and beverage, including alcohol. No outside alcohol is permitted on facility property.

When is the final date I can make changes to my event?

We ask for all changes to be submitted no less than 7 days prior to the event date. This includes changes to your guest count, floor plan, and timeline. Your remaining final balance is also due 7 days prior to the event date.
