The Fairfax Challenge comes to the Fredericksburg Convention Center December 18–20, 2026, bringing together hundreds of Olympic style fencers from across the country for one of the region’s premier fencing competitions.

As a sanctioned USA Fencing qualifying event, the tournament features Regional Open Circuit (ROC), Regional Junior/Cadet Circuit (RJCC), and Regional Youth Circuit (RYC) competitions, giving athletes the opportunity to earn valuable points and qualify for national level events.

Over three days of competition, spectators can watch fast paced bouts across all three Olympic fencing disciplines: Foil, Épée, and Saber. The tournament includes divisions for Youth, Cadet, Junior, Senior, and Veteran fencers, showcasing competitors of all ages and skill levels.
