Is parking free?
Yes! Free parking is available at the Fredericksburg Convention Center.
Is Halls of Hysteria indoors?
Yes. Halls of Hysteria is a fully indoor haunted attraction, so the scares continue rain or shine.
Is Halls of Hysteria wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The attraction is wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance or have accessibility questions when you arrive, please speak with a member of our team.
Can I attend under the influence of alcohol or other substances?
No. For the safety of our guests, actors, and staff, guests should not enter the attraction while under the influence of alcohol or other substances. Guests who are visibly intoxicated or impaired may be denied entry.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted inside the attraction or Convention Center. Trained service animals are welcome.
Please keep in mind that Halls of Hysteria includes loud noises, sudden movements, darkness, fog, flashing effects, actors, and unexpected scares. Guests bringing a service animal should consider whether the environment is appropriate and comfortable for their animal.
Will the actors touch me?
No. Our scare actors will not touch you, and guests may not touch the actors or props. Actors may follow you, sneak up on you, jump out unexpectedly, or get close as part of the experience.
What should I expect inside?
Expect the unexpected. 👀 Halls of Hysteria features a variety of scares, including clowns, zombies, possessed dolls, graveyards, twisted cornfields, scarecrows, spirits, horror-inspired scenes and more. You may be startled, followed, chased, or caught completely off guard.
Can I leave if it gets too scary?
Yes. If at any point you feel unable to continue, alert one of our staff members or actors and they can assist you with exiting the attraction.
Are there flashing lights, fog or loud sounds?
Yes. The attraction may include strobe or flashing lights, theatrical fog, loud noises, darkness and sudden scare effects. Guests who may be sensitive to these effects should use caution.
