Halls of Hysteria is back for Year 2 at the Fredericksburg Convention Center — bigger, darker, and packed with even more scares for 2026.

Step inside a massive, fully indoor haunted trail where fear takes a different form around every corner. Halls of Hysteria isn’t built around one theme or one kind of scare — it throws you into a constantly changing nightmare filled with the things that keep you up at night.

One moment you may be walking through a fog-filled graveyard surrounded by the dead, and the next you’re trapped inside a twisted cornfield with scarecrows and creatures lurking between the stalks. Keep going and you could find yourself face-to-face with deranged clowns, possessed dolls, zombies, restless spirits, horror classics, sinister nuns, exorcist-inspired scenes, creatures in the darkness, and plenty more we’re not giving away.

And the scares don’t always stay inside the scenes.

You may be chased. You may be followed. Something may sneak up behind you when you least expect it. Our scare actors are there to keep you on edge from beginning to end — but actors will not touch guests.

With new scares, expanded scenes, and surprises waiting throughout the trail, Year 2 takes the hysteria even further.

Strongly recommended for ages 13+. Some scenes, effects, characters, and scares may be too intense for younger audiences.
