A Day Out for Pets & Their People
Bring your pet, bring the family, or simply bring your love of animals! Pet Palooza returns to the Fredericksburg Convention Center September 12–13 for a weekend of shopping, adoptable pets, animal encounters and live entertainment. You don’t need a pet to join the fun!
A Record Year for Rescues & Adoptions
Your next best friend could be waiting here. This year, Pet Palooza welcomes a record number of rescues, shelters and adoption organizations, bringing more opportunities to meet adoptable pets and connect with the people helping them find loving homes.
Meet the animals, ask questions and learn about the adoption process directly from participating organizations. Whether you’re ready to welcome a new companion or interested in fostering, volunteering or supporting a rescue, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Shop, Play & Explore
Browse pet treats, toys, gear, accessories and specialty products, discover local pet services, and find a few new favorites for your companion. From everyday essentials to something just for fun, it’s a chance to shop a variety of pet businesses all under one roof.
Between the shopping, let your pup stretch their legs on the lure course, explore the dog ball pit, and meet goats, reptiles and other animal guests throughout the show.

Catch the Shows
Watch dogs put their skills to work during Pup ’N Iron agility demonstrations and discover fascinating animals at Reptiles Around the World, with presentations scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, September 13 at 1 PM, cheer on the contestants in the Pet Talent Show as they take the spotlight with their best tricks and talents!
Think your pet belongs onstage? Apply for the Pet Talent Show. Space is limited, and selected participants will be contacted with details before the event.
